“HIAB has several partnerships and collaborations under its sustainability Remit”

United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP), the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. Is the most notable collaboration of HIAB.


The partnership was consummated in Dec 2012 to help further WFP’s Strategic Plans in achieving a world with zero hunger, under its operational framework. Since this time, HIAB has pursued its partnership, in the MENA region allowing activities to be sanctioned by Islamic Affairs And Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai.


Sustainable Drives that HIAB participated in raising awareness and funds are:

a. Embracing Ramadan – Iftar – HIAB’s pledge to feed 4 hungry persons from each booking

b. Hotel Guests to add 5AED upon checkout (optional)
c. Bridge Tournaments

d. Collection of new and nearly new items to raise funds
e. Karaoke evenings

2014 Collections enabled
16500 families (average 4 persons) 66000 people to be saved in Syria from starvation. From 2012 HIAB has helped 205,665 people in total.

abc Foundation

HIAB is a patron for the Dubai Chapter of abcFoundation – ‘An advent for building human capital’ a NGO with a mandate of training hospitality staff to become competent through its ‘English for Hospitality Professionals’ Program. The program is delivered by trained teachers to – HIAB hotel staff (complimentary) and others externally ( at a nominal charge).

Positive differences in graduates from completed sessions of EHP Program are apparent in their demeanour and confidence and being an enabler of growth, they are ready to move up on career ladder.

HIAB’s awareness drives enabled

16500 families – over 60,000 people to be saved in Syria from starvation in 2014.

HIAB is proud to announce that since 2012 has assisted WFP to feed 304,390 people in total.
