World’s highest tennis court

Dubai is home to the world’s highest tennis court which stands atop the fourth highest hotel in the world, Burj Al Arab. It is circular in shape and is also the helipad of the hotel. The height is 1000 feet above the Arabian sea.

Clark Francis Tennis
Today Clark Francis (CF) is synonymous with all that is tennis in Dubai. It promotes the development of a tennis player at all levels. The facility has a variety of programs running at its 19 venues across the emirate. The Kid’s programs start at the age of four. The CF also train and mentor junior players to compete in junior tournaments held in Dubai such as The Junior Masters Series, from where winners are sent on all paid trips to the French Open at Roland Garros.
Emirates Tennis Academy
The ETA has tennis courts in five Dubai parks. The Safa Park on Sheikh Zayed Road has three tennis courts to keep the kids entertained. It is headed by coach and managing director Jean-Francois Danican.
The ETA tennis at Barsha Pond Park in Al Barsha is popular with local residents for its lovely ponds, clean jogging track and training courts.
At the Al Nahda Pond Park there are two tennis courts. Others include Mirdif Park and Uptown Mirdif . All these courts have to be pre-booked for events.
Al Nasr Leisureland
Al Nasr Leisureland is on a 48 acre site providing several facilities for its visitors. Al Nasr visitors can make use of four standard size tennis courts booked on an hourly basis. Al Nasr Leisureland offers coaching classes for beginners as well as professionals to polish up their game.
Dubai Tennis Academy
The Dubai Tennis Academy currently has two hubs in Dubai with a variety of tennis programs at work at all levels of play with a low player/coach ratio. It has structures in place to maximize the development of the game. The DTA hosts a variety of programs and tournaments for kids, adults and ladies.
Al Soufouh Park is a miscellaneous park with free basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.
