So I am writing to you to express my appreciation for the excellent customer service which I had received from your hotel during my last visit on Dec 31, 2015. The staff was very warm and accommodating, and they really were helpful to me. I must comment on your staff Tanmeet, Arun and other staff during my staff. I am from hospitality background, so always have appreciate the excellent service especially that is done from heart. I have always saw smiling while talking to customers. She has high level of professionalism and enthusiasm to get to the root of the issue promptly exceeded my expectations.

In general, my wife and I do not send in reviews or comments on anything. However, our most recent experience at the Holiday Inn – Al Barsha was so spectacular that we felt that we needed to share some of the details of our trip with future travelers. The concierge, Kahled, was beyond amazing. When we had first contacted Khaled from the United States, prior to our trip, he was wonderful and helpful and he immediately provided us with everything that we had requested as well as advising us as to the best tours and transportation for what we had desired to see and do in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. That was only the beginning. Upon our arrival at the Holiday Inn – Al Barsha, at almost midnight, we were met by his staff (who were expecting us) and they made sure that everything was in perfect order for us. The next morning, when we met Khaled face-to-face, he greeted us with a smile and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We made several “new” requests to see various other attractions in Dubai, and Khaled personally made sure that each and every request was quickly addressed and accomplished for us.

On one specific occasion, when nothing at all was available online for that week at “Ski Dubai”, Khaled and his family even walked over to “Ski Dubai” on his own time, and in person he was able to secure tickets for us for our much desired indoor Dubai ski experience that otherwise would have NEVER come to fruition.

We have traveled throughout the world and the concern, care and competence that Khaled provided to us were well beyond anything that we had ever encountered. He did everything far above our expectations. When we began planning our trip to Dubai, we initially had many concerns. However, due to Khaled and his staff, we were treated to one of the best and most amazing vacations ever! We could relax definitely knowing that we were in good hands – thank you once again Khaled.

Also, the location, the rooms and the service at Holiday Inn – Al Barsha were absolutely perfect in every way. We would easily give our experience at the Holiday Inn – Al Barsha even “beyond a 5 star + rating” if that at all was available.

Many thanks for your kind email and I am pleased that you were happy with my feedback after my brief visit to Holiday Inn Al Barsha. I found it difficult to find anything negative to write, as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and all your staff, including the domestic staff were kind and attentive.

Many years ago I was the manager of a hotel in Perth, Western Australia, so I appreciate how important feedback information from your patrons is.

Last year I decided to have a stop-over in Dubai after visiting my family in Australia and returning to my home in the U.K. However, although I have travelled quite extensively over many years, this was my first visit to Dubai. As I was travelling alone, didn’t speak your language and was not familiar with your customs, I was a little nervous. I admitted this to your Concierge, Khaled but my fears were unfounded, as he and his team immediately put me at ease and Khaled in particular helped me by answering my numerous questions and in choosing suitable tours where I would have company during my short visit. On that occasion a lady Tour Manager was in charge.

When I visited your hotel this year, the same service was given but this time a new Tour Manager. He also went out of his way to advise and assist me in planning other tours which would allow me to see more of Dubai. Although these two employees went over and above what would normally one would expect, I cannot speak highly enough of both of them for the expert and professional manner.

I sincerely hope that I will be well enough to visit Holiday Inn al Barsha next year.

My wife emailed me tonight and asked “At the end of a long journey… what were the highlights?”… A trip that started with tremendous success in New York City to a Visit in Florence recently recommended as one of the must see cities of the world to Dubai… When I think of the many highlights I have to say my Stay at Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha was a great pleasure and something I will tell my colleques and friends about.

Let me tell you alittle about your people… Mr Kanchon was first to greet me last Sunday the 16th of November… A warm smile… air of confidence that he was there to assist me with all I needed. Watching over my luggage as I went to check in with Mara who matched his friendly smile grin for grin. I had arrived very early and traveling overnight and she noticed without me saying a word…

She said “Let me see where I can get you in so you can be settled down…” Quickly she came up with a room and provided me the complete instructions. All the time your wonderful Mani was overseeing the process.

Let me tell you about Mani… Incredible… As soon as Kanchon handed me over to her for assistance. What a welcome. Warm, bubbly, happy, charming… the perfect mix of complete confidence , kindness, sincere interest and warmth.

All of this was repeated every day and at every opportunity. I felt at home. This was mirrored by your dining room staff. Your hostesses… Amazing… your floor people… But Daniel was just terrific… I was able to get him to make me an Italian Style Cappucino… frothy and warm not Dubai Style which is boiling hot… He anticipated my dining room habits… Was outstanding!!!

I cannot remember everyones name… but as a compliment they remembered mine. Everyday a warm greeting by name. This includes the Sous Chef who was excellent as was his food. The breakfast were great. I had the pleasure of the Thai Restaurant that was exquisite. Sushi Night was great.

I could keep going… My hope is to always stay here at the Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha when I visit which should be frequently from this point forward. Continue the great work. You have an amazing staff… Keep up the great efforts…

Sir, as a frequent and lengthy customer of the holiday inn hotel al Barsha Dubai, UAE I am regularly asked to provide feedback on my experiences.

Without wishing to disturb, I thought I would go to the top man and provide feedback on a direct basis.

I have recently completed an extended stay within the hotel, this is effectively a return visit from my initial stay of last year.

The hotel as far as the accommodation goes, is relatively indistinguishable from the comparable stock within the city.

What I would say, is that the staff that work within the hotel are very much distinguishable from the norm.

Your organisation has some very talented people namely: the two duty managers Mr M as I call them, George the F&B manager, resteraunt managers Robert and Ramesh, bar tender Mehaboob and head of security Caroline, not forgetting Khaled who is on concierge.

These guys, truly, are an asset to your organisation. They in their own way and function are exemplary in terms of behaviour and hospitality. I cannot speak highly enough for your staff.

This is why, for business purposes I recommend the hotel. For personal reasons when in need of temporary accommodation with my family, that is where I stay – and nowhere else.

I hope that this email eventually finds it’s way to you, because I would like to bring to your attention some very good service that I have received from your staff – and yet I am not due to visit your hotel until March next year!

A few weeks back, my son Stephen and I decided that we would like to visit Dubai in order to enjoy the horse racing at Meydan, and more specifically the World Cup.

Although we have both travelled extensively, neither of us have previously visited the UAE, and it is fair to say that this is the fulfilment of a long held ambition for me.

Some very good friends and professional colleagues have stayed in many hotels in your city, and highly recommended your premises as being an establishment that ‘punches considerably above it’s weight’ – in other words they found the accommodation, facilities and service to be quite exceptional bearing your 4 star designation.

I booked a two bedroomed suite online for 6 nights commencing 25th March, and sent a couple of general queries when I did so. These were answered incredibly quickly – the efficiency was outstanding.

However, over the next few days there were a few minor issues in relation to the deposit being charged to my American Express card. This was a routine issue that crops up from time to time, (I think AmEx erroneously charged me in GB pounds, rather than in dirhams!), but when I contacted your front front desk for assistance they were quite faultless in their response, – always helpful, always patient – it actually makes me look forward to meeting them!

As an aside, may I take the opportunity to applaud the various social and environmental projects that your hotel participates in. I have read some of the press releases from the past year or so, and it is heartening to find a business with such genuine humanitarian interests, which accepts that it has moral responsibilities to those who are a little less fortunate than we are.
I also applaud your ‘green’ credentials; you are setting an example that IHG should be promoting throughout the group.

I thought that I would just like to bring all of this to your attention; staff may not realise that they can influence a guest’s enjoyment of their stay many months in advance of their arrival, but these initial impressions count for a great deal. Every dealing that I have had with your people so far has left me feeling very confident with regard to my stay.

As a parting shot, (and very much as an afterthought), – would you please ask your desk to ensure that I am booked in to whichever suite is the best within the hotel, – I am quite prepared to pay any supplements that may be needed to do so. This is a special trip for many reasons, and the cost will not be an issue.

Thank you for your time, and more importantly, thank you to your staff for already making me feel welcome.

I am a frequent guest at the \”Al Barsha\” and during this current stay I had need to fax/scan an important document back to the US. Both Khaled and the Concierge Captain Ishrad helped me with this project and they were extremely helpful. They both went above and beyond what would normally be expected to ensure that everything I needed was taken care of. They both are certainly examples of the kind of service IHG and the Al barsha Management team can be proud of. In fact I will go on to say that I have spent somewhere between 100-150 nights here in the past 27 months and EVERYONE from the desk staff to the concierge staff to the breakfast staff , fitness center.. etc.. have always been helpful and pleasant. I travel all over the world and while the Al Barsha may not be the fanciest place I stay it is certainly my favorite destination.

Awais at reception was so professional and friendly on arrival and did his utmost to make sure that because it was our anniversary that there would be fruit and flowers in our room, the room that had been allocated to us by our agent was a smoking room and he had to change us to a non smoking room instead, but he got it sorted and enquired when he saw me the following day if all was in order.

It is evident that the training and example throughout comes from management and this is full compliments to you and your team.

I am not the appropriate person to complete the opinion form for Crown Agents’ international tax training from 11-22 November 2013. I participated as a trainer, whereas most of the feedback sought in the form should be obtained from Crown Agents itself.

I will state though that I found your staff very easy to work with. They were constantly checking to confirm that everything was running as it should, remembered a few things that I’d forgotten (like collecting the photographs) and were always immediately accessible (just outside the room) and very polite and helpful when I needed assistance. It made like very easy for me, so thank you very much!

We got exceptional service from all staff, right from Front Desk to Room Service. I asked for you twice during my stay but was told that it was you day off and the second time you were not at the hotel. Stranded as a result of the ash cloud, we checked in here having stayed at Dar Al Masyaf. Although located away from the beach, the roof top pool has fantastic views and the Mall of the Emirates is a short walk. The food is of an exceptional standard and the the staff are extremely efficient and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay here again as this is the best Holiday Inn we have stayed in. Special mention for Mohammed, the pool attendant and of course the chef!!

After staying at your fine hotel I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel even if it means paying a higher rate if the staff rate is not available.
